Microsoft 365 consultants in Sydney

TechRam is a Sydney Microsoft 365 consultancy that builds operational systems inside the tenant you already pay for, instead of adding software on top of it. Registers, approvals, onboarding and reporting run on SharePoint, Azure and the Power Platform. We don't administer the tenant. We build what your organisation runs on.

You may be paying for it twice

Mid-market organisations keep buying software to fix problems their Microsoft 365 tenant can already solve. LGP had been through two SaaS tools and Viva Goals before we built its OKR tracker on SharePoint lists, and the weekly executive report now builds itself. The question isn’t whether Microsoft 365 can do it. It’s whether it’s cheaper to buy or to build.

What we build in it

  • SharePoint holds the record: registers, document management, the intranet. Our SharePoint services →
  • Azure and Power Automate move the work: Power Automate for light flows a team owns, Azure when the automation carries a whole process. Power Apps where a form is really an application, and Power BI for reports nobody has to assemble. Power Platform or Azure →
  • Entra ID decides who gets in. We automate onboarding and offboarding so access is right on day one and gone on the last. Entra ID automation →
  • Copilot answers from all of it, once the SharePoint underneath can be trusted. AI workflows and agents →
  • Microsoft Foundry runs the agents that work on their own, off a trigger, with a person approving the output. Foundry agents →

What we don’t do

We don’t administer tenants, resell licences or run a helpdesk. If you need a managed service provider, we’re not it, and we’ll say so on the first call. What we do is build the systems your organisation runs on, then hand them over documented, in your tenant, with no ongoing dependency on us.

Where to start

The SharePoint Audit is a two-to-three-week, read-only review of your tenant. It shows what’s there, who can reach it, and what’s worth building first.

Common questions

01. Do you manage Microsoft 365 for us?

No. We don't run endpoints, networks or a helpdesk; that stays with whoever does it now. We build the systems that sit in the tenant: registers, workflows, reporting and the intranet.

02. Will we need more licences?

Only when the cheaper layer can't do the job. We work up a four-layer cost hierarchy: what's already included in Microsoft 365 first, then low-code, then third-party integration, and custom development only when nothing else fits. Anything beyond your current licences is in the scope before you commit.

03. What does a Microsoft 365 consultant cost?

Our work is a fixed price, agreed in writing before it starts, not a day rate. The first engagement is usually The SharePoint Audit, and what comes after it is priced against what the audit found.

04. We already have software for this. Why build in Microsoft 365?

Sometimes you shouldn't. If a platform does the job and your people use it, keep it. Build in Microsoft 365 when you're paying for a tool that duplicates what the tenant already does, or when the data needs to sit with your other records.

Tell us what isn’t working.

We’ll look at what you already pay for and tell you honestly whether we can help. No new software. No new subscriptions.
