SharePoint consultants in Sydney
TechRam is a SharePoint consultancy in Kogarah, Sydney. We build SharePoint and Microsoft AI systems for mid-market organisations, inside the Microsoft 365 tenant they already pay for. The first engagement is usually The SharePoint Audit, a two-to-three-week, read-only review, and the build after it is a fixed price, in writing, not a day rate.
What we do
SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 around it — Power Automate, Copilot, Purview — built into the systems an organisation actually runs on. Eight services, in the order they usually happen:
- Understand the environment. The SharePoint Audit: what Copilot can see that it shouldn’t, what SharePoint isn’t doing for you, and whether your records would survive an audit.
- Fix the foundations. Governance & Cleanup for permissions and sprawl, and Storage & Archive Lifecycle for migrations off file servers and the storage bill.
- Replace the workarounds. Registers & Trackers instead of the spreadsheet, and Custom Operational Apps where a list isn’t enough.
- Make knowledge usable. An intranet and knowledge layer people use, and AI workflows and agents that answer from it.
- Keep it working. Run & Improve, a retainer you can end.
AI is only as good as the SharePoint underneath it. That’s why the audit comes first.
Who we work with
Mid-market organisations that already pay for Microsoft 365 and are still running on spreadsheets, shared inboxes and paper. Most of them are compliance-heavy: NDIS providers, aged care, healthcare, not-for-profits and local government. We also work in professional services, engineering and construction, and logistics.
What we’ve built
Each one names the client and the number, and every system on this list is still in use.
- Achieve Australia — onboarding and offboarding in one pipeline, from a single request. 120 hours a month back, and onboarding cut from four hours to 15 minutes. Read the Achieve result →
- EPP Law — a paper claims form became one guided online form in English, Arabic and Chinese, filing to SharePoint, the register and the client at once. Read the EPP Law result →
- LGP — an OKR tracker on SharePoint lists, after two SaaS tools and Viva Goals had failed them. The weekly executive report now builds itself. Read the LGP result →
How to choose a SharePoint consultant in Sydney
There are plenty of good firms in this city. Whoever you talk to, five questions sort them quickly. They’re also the ones we’d want you to ask us.
- Who does the work? The person who scopes it should be the person who builds it. Ask whether you’ll be handed to a delivery team after the sale.
- Is the price fixed before you start? A day rate puts the risk on you. A fixed price, in writing, puts it on the consultant. How we set ours →
- Do they earn anything if you buy more software? A firm that takes a margin on licences has a reason to sell you another platform. Ask before they recommend one.
- Can they name a client and a number? “We’ve done lots of SharePoint” is not proof. A named organisation and an operational outcome is.
- Will you own it? Everything should live in your tenant, documented, with no ongoing dependency on the firm that built it.
Why a Sydney firm
Same time zone, same compliance environment. Discovery happens in the room where we can, with the people who actually feel the problem. We’re in Kogarah.
Common questions
01. What does a SharePoint consultant in Sydney cost?
A fixed price, not a day rate, agreed in writing before work starts. The first engagement is usually The SharePoint Audit, and whatever comes after it is priced against what the audit found, not guessed on a first call.
02. Where do we start?
With a thirty-minute Discovery Call. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help. If we can, the first piece of work is usually The SharePoint Audit. Sometimes it's nothing at all.
03. Are you a managed service provider?
No. We don't run endpoints, networks or a helpdesk. We design and build the systems your organisation runs on in SharePoint and Microsoft 365, then hand them over.
04. Do we own what you build?
Yes. The system, the documentation and the ability to maintain it without us. It's built in your tenant, on licences you already have, so there's no lock-in and no ongoing dependency on us.
05. Do you only work with Sydney organisations?
No. We're based in Kogarah, so discovery and workshops happen in the room wherever we can, and we work with organisations across Australia.
